75Grand's REMIX added to Wikipediaart.org REMIX page

75Grand's REMIX of Wikipediaart's REMIX page on the
Wikipediaart.org website was added to the Wikipediaart.org
REMIX page today, along with a link to 75Grand's posterous.com
page which includes the complete 75Grand REMIX of Wikipediaart's
REMIX page.

Wikipediaart is a project of Scott Kildall and Nathaniel Stern, artists
who had originally created an entry on Wikipedia as an
art project open for modification by all interested parties following
Wikipedia's editing guidelines. After only 15 hours the Wikipedia
community removed the Wikipediaart entry. Now, the project continues
as an on-line presence as part of the 2009 Venice Biennale.

75Grand is pleased to be a part of this artwork.

Robert:

Actually I think that's a Winogrand photo, (if it's the one taken from above
and the side looking down while the car is driving), but there's a real
similar Frank taken from behind a convertible with a couple kind of glaring
at him.

I kept hoping I would meet Robert Frank but the place is such
that I've never even conversed with the curator. But I did get to spend an
afteroon looking though work prints from the Americans, which was fun.
Frank was around all day a couple of months ago, but I never crossed paths.

I went to this lecture the other day...
 http://luxmedia.vo.llnwd.net/o10/clients/nationalgallery/audio/040709lect01.mp3

and what was most interesting is how well Frank understood that he
needed to work the levers to get his work done (He used to help Walker Evans
take photographs and Evans both rewrote Frank's Gugenheim application and sat on
the Board of Trustees which evaluated it.)

links! i have heard of these, the kids are all talking about them.

you programmed deeper, assumed greater facility, provided virtuality! but i only read the surface, assumed one inclusive level, proceeded blindly...

(in fact i've been asked to blog, podcast, link, torrent, etc etc etc but my attitude is: that's just more work. Dark Moon Rising is a salon and a list...

i do appreciate yr support! and next time i'll jack a little further into the matrix... :)

Dear Chris:

You said, "Hey thanks for the promo! wondering if you'd care to include
the full playlists and so verify the awesome eccentricity of our shared efforts?
(don't let me tell you how to blog... ;)"

And then I was thinking, "Didn't I do that??!!"

Having reread your query and comment below, I looked again
at my posterous.com post about DarkMoonRising and see that
I did provide a link at the start of the post that takes you to the full playlist
on your FaceBook NOTES page. I just tried the link and
it seems to work. Maybe I did,t make the link BOLD enuf.

I don't want to tell you how to make playlists =:{ but was thinking
it would be cool if some of the entries had links to their
sources, where available.

As I await the next dark moon...
